Go northbound on Hwy 247 for 6 miles
Turn right (east) on Northside Rd and go 5 miles
Turn left (north) on Herrod Rd (dirt) and go 6.7 miles
Turn right (north/east) (at marker#6645 just before hill) and go 0.7 miles to the lakebed

               Good surface
               Dirt roads leading to it are somewhat rough
