   FROM: Hwy 15 and 164 (Nipton Rd, just south of the California/Nevada state
   line)

   Go east on Hwy 164 - Nipton Rd for 6.2 miles

   Or

   FROM: Searchlight, Hwy 164 and 95 junction

   Go west on Hwy 164 for 26.2 miles

   Lakebed on the north side of road, look for barbed wire fence and gate to
   the excess road

   NOTES: wide open

   South end of Ivanpah dry lake

   May have to cut barbed wire on gate
