   FROM: Barstow - north/eastbound on Hwy 15 measured from the East Main
   Street exit

   Go 49 miles to Rasor Rd off ramp

   Or

   FROM: Baker - Hwy 127 off ramp go southbound on Hwy 15 for 12 miles to
   Rasor Rd off ramp

   Turn west and immediately on the west side of Hwy 15 turn left again
   (south) on the first paved road,

   (road will parallel Hwy 15 for a distance than it will become dirt, turn
   and will follow powerlines), go for 3.9 miles

   look for PASSABLE dirt roads (several) on the right (west) side and take
   it to the lakebed about . mile

   NOTES: dirt roads leading to the lakebed are sandy!

   Inspect prior to driving on them !
