   FROM: California City - Hwy 14 and California City Blvd

   Go northbound on Hwy 14 for 14 miles

   Turn left (west) on Jawbone Canyon Rd (it is paved on/off, rough and
   winding)

   Go 17.8 miles (note; prior to entering Jawbone Canyon, check with the
   ranger station, near the Hwy 14 entrance for road conditions)

   Look for road sign on the right "Piunte Mtn" and follow it to the left
   (south/west) for 0.3 mile

   Look for road sign "Skyline Ranch"

   Follow it to the right( west ), 0.1 mile to airfield gate (locked) on the
   right side (north)

   Or

   FROM: California City - Hwy 14 and California City Blvd

   Go northbound on Hwy 14 for 36.2 miles (from Jawbone Canyon Rd 22.2 miles)

   Turn left (west) on Hwy 178 toward Lake Isabella

   Go 28.9 miles

   Turn left (south) on Kelso Creak Rd (it will become Kelso Valley Rd), and
   go 24 2 miles (note the last 5.3 miles will be dirt)

   Turn right (wet) at the "Skyline Ranch" sign

   Go 0.1 mile , airstrip gate (locked) on the right (north)
