CINDERCONE dry lake

   FROM: Inyokern - Hwy 14 and 178 (Ridgecrest turnoff ) junction

   Go northbound on Hwy 14 ( it will become Hwy 395 after a few miles) for
   23.9 miles

   Look for "Fossil Falls" sign on the right

   Turn right (east) on dirt road and go 1.5 miles to the lakebed

   NOTES:north/south

   Plenty long/wide

   Some obstructions in lakebed

   Good
