   FROM: the "Barstow/Dagget airport" exit continue eastbound on Hwy 40 for
   6.3 miles

   Get off at "Newberry Springs " exit

   Turn right (south) on "National Trails Hwy" (Rt66) - road will turn
   eastbound shortly- and go 1.8 miles

   Turn left (north) on "Newberry Rd" and go 0.9 miles

   Turn right (east) on "Fairview Rd" (first paved than dirt) and go 5.3
   miles to the lakebed
