POT LAKE

   NOTE: must pay careful attention to mileage

   FROM: 29 Palm airport entrance

   Go east on Hwy 62 for 25.1 miles

   As you get close, anticipate a 1-mile long left bend in the road (Hwy 62)

   (0.1 mile PRIOR to dirt road turnoff, look for a yellow "subject to
   flooding" sign on the right side of road)

   Turn left (north) on dirt road (at the 25.1-mile point).(0.1 mile past the
   "subject to flooding sign")

   At this point, you will be facing a gate.Go around to the right of the
   gate and drive 2.5 miles heading northwest.

   Road will fork, keep to the right and continue for 1.5 miles heading north
   to the lakebed.

   NOTES: lakebed running north/south.

   Use the north part, as it is smoother.

   Long and wide.

   Dirt road rough.

   Dirt road is the only road for miles of each direction (on Hwy 62)

   Call box on hwy 62 0.6 mile west of dirt road.
